CASTING CALL for Disney’s new movie, “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice,” starring Nicholas Cage and Monica Belluci.
We’re looking for extras for a scene that is supposed to take place in Kolkata (Calcutta) in the 1920s, which is scheduled to shoot in downtown New York City on July 1st. We’re looking for South Asian men, women and children (from any part of India and South Asia) to play priests, worshippers, street vendors, hustlers, police, dwellers, etc. Pay is $80 for 10 hours if you are NON-SAG (actors union), and regular pay if you are SAG. Meals, breaks and overtime are also included.
To be eligible for this project, you must be able to attend a half-hour wardrobe fitting between June 17th— June 23rd, for which you will also be compensated. You will also have to present documentation that proves you can work in the US, including a US Passport, Green Card, Work Visa, or Drivers License & Social Security Card.
